Biography

Alexandra Lewis-Lorentz has been the sole proprietor of AJL Productions, a video production business that combines the digital arts with her years of experience as a Cultural Anthropologist, since 2005.  The result is a unique approach to her media work.  Alexandra has spent nearly 30 years in video production as a director/producer/writer/editor; an attraction that began with an internship at while working at PBS in the early 1980s. and, over the years, has taken her into the world of advertising, education and Bilingual/bicultural worker training.   

Alexandra holds a M.A. (1983) and Ph.D. (1990) in Anthropology from the University of Washington, a Masters Degree in Anthropology (1974) from Cambridge University, England and a B.A. degree (1972) in Anthropology from SUNY at StonyBrook.  She speaks and reads both Spanish and French and has traveled extensively.
